Parent FAQ
Questions before you register?
Here are the details parents usually want to know first.
What is an OT Hands boot camp?
A short, live, small-group virtual program focused on a defined functional skill area such as fine motor, handwriting or school readiness.
Is this individual occupational therapy?
Boot camps can be offered as educational or skill-building group experiences. If a program is being provided as individualized clinical occupational therapy, additional intake, consent, documentation and privacy requirements may apply.
How many kids are in each group?
Capacity is listed on each boot camp. A starting target of six participants keeps groups interactive and manageable.
How do we join?
After successful registration, the parent receives confirmation and session access by email. The goal is a single clear Join Boot Camp button.
What if we miss a session?
Add your program-specific make-up, recording or attendance policy here before launch.
What should a parent do during the session?
This can vary by age. Younger participants may benefit from a nearby adult for setup and transitions. Each boot camp should state expectations clearly before the first session.
What technology do we need?
A reliable internet connection, a device with camera and microphone, and the video platform listed for the boot camp.
What is your cancellation policy?
Add your reviewed cancellation and refund policy here before launch.
